As someone who works in the beauty sphere, I will be the first one to say it can be overwhelming at times. Walking into a store and seeing a dozen new launches or variations of a moisturiser can just be too much. I’m here to make it a little bit easier for you with my favourites this month.
I make no promises that these will all be new products, but they will be some of my favourites. I also make no promises that I wont have a new favourite by next month.
Skincare
Biossance Squalane + Growth Factor Firming Moisturiser (£52)

Having never used Biossance products before I was happily surprised by this moisturiser. As an oily girl I’m always looking for a gel moisturiser that is going to help make my make up last all day. Since using this I’ve visibly noticed the change in my skin, it feels plumper, more even and just generally feels so so nice.
Tatcha Milky Moisturising SPF (£49) / Beauty of Joseon Aqua Fresh SPF (£16)
SPF is always something I struggled with, its so hard for a lightweight non-greasy formula but I’ve found that in both of these. The formula of Tatcha is so light-weight it really is like milk and the Beauty of Joseon its a light, refreshing cream. Both sit so nicely under make up and don’t leave that shiny look that SPF so often does.

Makeup
Nars Natural Matte Longwear Foundation (£43.50)

I was skeptical about this foundation – mainly because I didn’t find the previous formulation didn’t work well on my skin.
I am SO GLAD I tried it again because whatever Nars have done, its working for me. Especially as someone who prefers a light feeling foundation, this barely felt like I had anything on my skin whilst still giving me amazing coverage.
Doesn’t dry down weirdly or over emphasise every single pore on your face just gives a gorgeous finish still with a bit of glow and life in the skin. The results really speak for themselves.
Kulfi Staining Lip Liners – La La La (£24)
I love a lip liner but I always find that issues comes from the longevity of the product. Not with these lip liners, it lasted through coffees, greasy food and about eight hours of wear. Plus i’m convinced its the perfect cool nude for me.

SimiHazeBeauty Blushes – Canyon (£43) and Lily (£25)

The blush duos and lip and cheek pigments from SimiHaze are so cute. There’s so many nice things like all the products are stackable and magnetic but I just really love the pigment. The matte and dewy aspects of the duo makes it such a versatile product and the slight shimmer in the lip and cheek makes it the perfect blush and highlight.
Lisa Eldridge Lips – Medici 185 (£52/£27)
I’ve always been a fan of Lisa Eldridge products, her skin tint is one of my go-to’s for a light coverage but I only recently discovered her lipsticks. I love a nice pinky lip that is always ‘my lips but better’ and thats exactly what I found with this. Not only is the colour selection amazing but the case is refillable. The initial purchase can be a lot but the refill is nearly half the price so big savings.

Of course there are so many more products that I love but these are the ones I can’t seem to live without right now. With so much choice out there its easy to get overwhelmed, but just know each month you can come here get your monthly debrief of newness or something thats come back better than ever.
